What documentation is needed in order to ship my vehicle?
Your vehicles' original title and a photocopy of your drivers license. We also require a letter of authorisation confirming that Motor Mania can transport your vehicle from the provide collection address to the provided delivery address.
How far in advance should I schedule the transport of my vehicle?
We request that you schedule your move as soon as possible to insure that your car is moved within the time frame which best meets your schedule. However, if an immediate pick up is necessary, we can arrange for your vehicle to be picked up within 48 hours. Transit time depends on the distance your vehicle is travelling in Europe.
What method of payments does Motor Mania accept?
Motor Mania accepts credit cards, money orders or cashier's cheques. Payment can be made over the phone with a Visa, Master Card and American Express. Please note that your vehicle cannot be transported until the payment has been made. If paying by a personal cheque the vehicle will be placed on hold until the funds have cleared.
Do I have to be present when we pick up or deliver your vehicle?
Yes, we request you, or a designated person, be present upon pick up of your vehicle. An inspection is performed and a contract bill of lading must be signed. If you are not able to be there, please call our Customer Service at (+34) 951 319205 and they will be happy to help you.
Should I have my vehicle transported in an enclosed carrier?
If your vehicle sits very low to the ground or is a freshly-restored antique car, then it's a good idea. Basically, the difference between open and enclosed is exposure to outside elements and weather.
Will the vehicles be insured while in transit?
Your vehicle(s) will be insured against in-transit damage caused by carrier negligence or equipment failure by the auto shipping or car transport truck assigned to you.
Can I put my personal belongings in the vehicle?
Yes, but Motor Mania does not take any responsibility for personal belongings in the vehicle. Please understand that the items that you put in your vehicle will not be available to you until the vehicle is delivered. Please do not put items such as medicine, presents, or any other item that is needed by a specific time. If the truck is delayed, the items will not be available to you until the vehicle is delivered. No more than 100 pounds of soft goods such as pillows or blankets. Auto shipping and car transport companies are not insured for household goods. The auto shipping and car transport truck is subject to inspection at every border. Under NO circumstances can the car contain firearms, hazardous materials, illegal substances, or contraband.

How do I prepare my vehicle?
Please have a no more that 1/4 tank of fuel, repair any chips and/or cracks in your windows and make sure your vehicle is prepared for changing weather conditions. For additional tips, please go to the Before You Ship section.
Do you have expedited service?
Yes, we price everything to be picked up within a few days and delivered within a week after pickup time depending on location. Please talk to a sales rep for any special needs.
BEFORE YOU SHIP CHECKLIST
General Guidelines
- Your vehicle must be operable. If it is not, additional fees or methods may apply.
- You must advise us of any modifications made to your vehicle such as 4x4 lift kit, camper shell, vehicle lowered, etc.
- Your vehicle may not exceed 7' in height.
- Your vehicle must have a minimum of 4" ground clearance to safely load and unload your vehicle.
- We must have a working phone number where you may be reached throughout the duration of your vehicle relocation.
- Transit times will vary depending on the time of year and the origination and destination of your particular move. Your estimated transit time will be indicated on your quote and order confirmation documents.
Preparing Your Car for Shipment
- The must have no obvious fluid leaks.
- Your battery must be secure in the mounting bracket.
- The vehicle must be clean for inspection. A dirty vehicle decreases the ability to perform a quality inspection.
- The gas tank must have a minimum of (1/8) tank of fuel, but no more than (1/4) tank of fuel.
- All alarm systems must be disconnected, disabled, or turned off.
- Radios, cassette decks or CD players not built in, car phones, garage door openers, and E-Z pass must be removed.
- All antennas must be fully retracted or removed.
- All personal belongings must be removed. (except standard vehicle items such as the jack and spare tire)
- All exterior spare tire covers, grill covers, or car covers must be removed.
- Plants and hazardous materials are forbidden by law to be transported.
- One set of ALL keys for the vehicle must be provided.
- Non-permanent luggage racks, bike racks, or ski racks must be removed.
- Your vehicle must be prepared for the new climate. This may include engine coolant, transmission oil, and other fluids.
Vehicle Inspection Requirements
- You or your designated representative must be present for the inspection at the time of pick-up and delivery.
Please note: No refunds will be made for cancellations unless another vehicle can be found in replacement to fill the cancelled space, this is due to all transportation being organised weeks in advance.
